E#my Fedora Core 4 remembers its Browser and WP settings. I don't know why yours does not. I tweaked a couple of things but didn't see anything that would cause it to fail on your machone The code is in com/jguigen/standard/GetBrowserAndWp.java starting at line 73. There are several steps involved but the comments in the code are fairly complete. You might want to put some print statements in (or use the Debugger in Eclipse) to walk through and see what it is really doing there.
